Power Ranking The LA Chargers New Uniforms

Day #11 of the power ranking push and today's blog is brought to you by 2 cups of coffee and a good night's sleep. In the power ranking world, there are unlimited options but sometimes picking a topic everyday can be a little difficult. Today was a little bit easier to power rank because it literally fell right into my lap. All thanks to the LA Chargers of course.

During this NFL offseason we’ve seen the Buccaneers, Browns, Patriots, Falcons all debut some sorts of “new” uniforms. All you really need to know right now is that those team’s new unis are just ok. Maybe later once I know that there won’t be any additional new uniforms this offseason, I can power rank the new threads in the NFL. But for now, this is a blog about the LA Chargers and I'm going to power rank their new uni combos. Let’s ride.

6. White-Blue-White –This combo looks so damn good, but someone had to come in near the bottom of the rankings.Love how the clean and simple this looks. The only other uni combos that look better in the NFL also happen to be worn by the Chargers.

5. White-White-Yellow–The yellow pants look amazing on a football field, but we don’t see them look this good in the NFL. I can already imagine watching the Chargers on the road vs the Raiders in late October wearing this combo.

4. White-Blue-Yellow–I mentioned how good the yellow pants are going to look but I can’t help but think how sad it is that Phillip Rivers won’t be wearing them. Watching a game seating interception get thrown by Rivers in this combo would have looked sweet. ButI’m sure Tyrod Taylor can do the same.

3. White-White-White– All white unis in football are sick. All white unis in football with lightning bolts on them is next level sick. This uni combo alone might be enough to make Patrick Mahomes throw 4 INTs because he’ll be in awe of them.

2. White-Royal Blue-Royal Blue –If it’s not broke, don’t fix it. The Chargers did the smart and sensible thing and kept their color rush jersey that they’ve had the last couple of seasons. Only tweaking a few things along the way. Joey Bosa is automatically good for 5 sacks when it’s a color rush game.

1. White-Dark Blue-Dark Blue – If Ladainian Tomlinson was a Chargers football jersey it would look like this. Love that the bolts on the helmet and face mask change to watch the jersey and pants, as well as the bolts on the jersey being slightly different.Having a second color rush combo in the mix is super huge flex in the NFL. Absolutely love it.
