Kole From HR has died. He will be greatly missed but he as already been replaced on the 616 Sports team by his brother, Kold Hart. Kold Hart is a lot like his brother Kole, except he specializes in beer reviews rather than human resources. Kold Hart has a cult like following of his Snapchat beer reviews so the only logical move was to bring the reviews to all of the internet. Please follow Kold on Twitter @HartKold for immediate reviews of beverages and some engagement. Each blog will feature additional details on the beer and some interesting facts you didn't know that you need. Here. We. Go.
Two Hearted Ale by Bell's Brewery
ABV: 7.0%
Calories: 212
Carbs: 16.7
Additional Info: Two hearted Ale is brewed by Bell's Brewing located in Kalamazzo, Michigan. I think it's safe to say that Bell's and Two Hearted Ale is a staple of the Michigan craft beer industry. Brewed with 100% Centennial hops from the Pacific Northwest and named after the Two Hearted River in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, we learned that this beer is kinda on the average side. That is unless you're a fan of IPAs.
Fun Fact: Featured on the Two Hearted can/bottle is a fish. That fish is actually a Trout and it's used because the fish have two hearts. Here's some additional information on the species and their hearts. The first functions as the normal blood-pumping machine and, in most fish, sits right behind the throat. This four-chambered heart pumps deoxygenated blood to the gills where it fills small capillaries. Cool fish, even cooler beer.
