I was super pumped when it was announced that the Detroit Pistons were going to sign Derrick Rose because the dude can get buckets. D Rose has had to battle through so many injuries in his career but he just keeps on keeping on in the NBA.
Last season we saw him revive his career in Minnesota, so it's awesome for him to keep it going here in Detroit. I have long said that he and Blake Griffin are going to be running 2011's nightmare pick and roll. Never-mind that the Pistons are only 10-14 and on the outside of the current playoff picture. This was a vintage Derrick Rose performance that gave some miserable Detroit sports fans something to smile about. And he gave an all-time quote in the post game interview.
